Vendor Agnostic

A vendor agnostic energy management system controls batteries, inverters, and meters from any manufacturer through open protocols, instead of only the hardware its maker sells.

The alternative is an EMS bundled with one supplier’s battery, which works until the site adds a second battery brand, the supplier exits the market, or the warranty replacement uses different cells. A vendor agnostic EMS keeps a driver and register map for each device, so mixed fleets, augmentation with a different battery, and multi site portfolios run under one control system. Buyers test the claim by asking for the list of integrated devices and for a live site running more than one brand.
