Jonathan Postal (J.W.) - Board Chair

J.W. has been a driving force behind multiple innovative companies in the renewable space. He was the co-founder of Main Street Power, a distributed generation power purchase agreement pioneer and an innovator in clean energy finance. While at Main Street Power, he spearheaded the nation’s first combined New Market and Investment Tax Credit portfolio. J.W. has also served as an executive, CDO, and COO with Milender White Construction, SunShare, and Clean Energy Collective respectively. 

J.W. has worked on trailblazing legislation for distributed solar, community solar, and renewable energy finance and has traveled the country developing solar projects in AZ, CA, CO, MA, MN, NJ, NM, SC, and TX. He has been a frequent speaker at industry events around the nation for topics such as clean energy finance, community solar, and now solar + storage and entrepreneurship.  Click here to read JW’s full bio.

Lillian Shattock

Lillian Shattock is Director of Private Investments for Arosa. Prior to Arosa, Lillian was a Project Analyst at 3 G Sahana Capital Partners. Before 3 G, she was an Associate at AGE Equity Partners in London, covering Private Equity, Real Estate and Fund of Fund Investments. She began her career in the Global Financial Advisory division of Rothschild Co, London, covering the Industrials, TMT and Financials sectors. Lillian graduated from Magdalen College at the University of Oxford in 2012 and holds a B.A. in Classics.

Eric Hinckley

Eric Hinckley is currently the Chief Technology Officer of Sustainable Living Innovations -a real-estate building technology platform. Eric oversees the product development group, software and hardware engineering groups as well as back-office technology infrastructure. 

Eric has a 15-year tenure in the energy industry, having started and worked for several public and private companies as President, COO, and CTO. Prior too jumping into real estate and power engineering, he worked at the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

Additionally, he formed a successful multifamily real estate development company, which he sold in 2003. After overseeing a residential solar company in 2008, he joined Main Street Power Company in 2010 as its Chief Technology and Operations Officer, overseeing the deployment of over 100 megawatts and $400 million in solar projects throughout the United States, Canada, and Africa. After selling Main Street Power in 2015 to AES Corporation, Eric became the Chief Technology Officer of AES distributed Energy.  Additionally, working with partners such as Tesla, Panasonic, BYD, SAFT, LG Chem, BluePlanet, Generac and Samsung, he has deployed lithium-ion-based storage systems throughout the United States, both in concert with photovoltaic systems and as stand-alone systems. Eric has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado, is a solar NABCEP certified professional and has 10 patents to his name.
