WATTMORE Donates Intellect EnFORM Solar Monitoring System to Support Mesa Grande Band of Mission Indian’s Clean Energy Project

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DENVER (October 20, 2026) -- WATTMORE, a Colorado-based energy technology software company, has donated its Intellect EnFORM Data Acquisition System (DAS) to support a clean energy project serving the Mesa Grande Band of Mission Indians, located in northern San Diego County, California, in partnership with the Solar Electric Light Fund (SELF).

SELF is a nonprofit organization that works to expand access to clean, reliable energy in underserved communities around the world. Since its founding in 1990, SELF has partnered with communities to develop renewable energy projects supporting healthcare, education, agriculture, water access, and economic development. SELF has also worked with communities in the United States and abroad to advance energy independence and resilience.

As part of the project, WATTMORE is providing an Intellect EnFORM DAS enclosure to collect and monitor data from the solar energy system. EnFORM is WATTMORE’s data acquisition and monitoring platform, connecting to equipment such as inverters, meters, battery management systems, and weather stations to provide a centralized view of energy system operations.

The Mesa Grande project supports the Mesa Grande Band of Mission Indians’ goal of achieving net-zero energy independence on its reservation. The 1,820-acre reservation includes homes, farms, natural spaces, and community centers used for administration and gathering. SELF and the Tribe are bringing solar electricity to three community sites supporting housing, agriculture, commerce, and public works programs. By the end of 2025, major system components, including batteries and inverters, had been installed across all three sites, with solar array assembly underway. The systems are designed to exceed current energy demand and support future needs, including electric vehicle charging. As the systems come online across multiple locations, EnFORM will provide centralized visibility into each site, allowing project stakeholders to track system operations and performance across the Tribe’s solar and storage assets.

“Energy technology is most meaningful when it is put to work for the communities that need it most,” said Jonathan W. Postal, Founder and CEO of WATTMORE, “We are proud to contribute Intellect EnFORM to this project and to support SELF’s work bringing reliable, sustainable energy solutions to communities around the world. We hope this is the beginning of many more opportunities to put WATTMORE technology to work alongside SELF.”

Robert A. Freling, Executive Director of SELF, noted “WATTMORE’s contribution of Intellect EnFORM will give the project valuable visibility into system performance while supporting our work to bring reliable, sustainable energy solutions to communities. We appreciate WATTMORE’s support and look forward to continuing to build on this partnership.”

The partnership reflects a shared commitment by WATTMORE and SELF to using clean energy technology to create practical, lasting benefits for communities. WATTMORE is excited by the opportunity to support additional SELF projects in the future and continue working together to expand access to reliable, innovative energy solutions.
