About the Role
As a Technical Sales professional, you'll work directly with customers, engineering, and executive leadership to introduce WATTMORE's Energy Management System (EMS) and Solar Monitoring solutions to the renewable energy market.
You'll help customers understand how intelligent software improves the performance, reliability, and profitability of renewable energy assets while supporting sales opportunities from initial conversations through project implementation.

What You'll Do
Develop and qualify new business opportunities across North America.
Build relationships with solar developers, EPCs, utilities, battery manufacturers,
independent power producers (IPPs), asset managers, and engineering firms.
Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations of WATTMORE's Energy
Management System (EMS) and Solar Monitoring platform.
Prepare technical sales proposals, price quotations, and customer presentations.
Collaborate with engineering and software teams to develop customer solutions.
Manage customer onboarding, pilot projects, and system demonstrations.
Maintain accurate CRM records and manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
Represent WATTMORE at industry conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and
webinars.
Stay current on emerging technologies including battery energy storage, solar,
microgrids, AI, and grid modernization.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
1–5 years of professional experience in engineering, technical sales, sales engineering, project engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and customer communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Knowledge and experience with solar monitoring, energy management/metering a plus
Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time throughout North America.
Preferred Experience
Experience with one or more of the following:
Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
Solar PV systems
Microgrids
Energy Management Systems (EMS)
Solar Monitoring or Distributed Asset Management Systems (DAS)
SCADA and industrial control systems
Renewable energy equipment, inverters, panels, batteries
Communications protocols including Modbus, DNP3, or OPC-UA
Candidates should have a general understanding of how Energy Management Software and Solar Monitoring platforms are used to monitor, control, optimize, and troubleshoot renewable energy systems. Experience demonstrating technical software solutions is a plus.
