WATTMORE and Sustainable Living Innovations announce the completion and operations of the 303 Battery Street Apartment Building Project

The project will use 192 kWh of Blue Planet non-flammable Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries to support solar(215kW) self-consumption and building resiliency.

Seattle, WA (November 1, 2024) Sustainable Living Innovations, Inc, a building technology company based in Seattle, and WATTMORE, an energy storage software provider based in Denver, CO, announced today the successful completion of a 192kWh 125kW  battery energy storage system in Seattle, WA. 

The WATTMORE Intellect Operate EMS is seamlessly controlling the Blue Planet battery energy storage system (BESS), with the building integrated photovoltaic solar system to maximize solar produced energy self-consumption while managing the non-export requirements of Seattle City Light.

The project will use a 192kWh Blue Planet Lithium Iron Phosphate battery to store excess photovoltaic (PV) energy when not immediately consumed by the building load. WATTMORE’s Intellect Energy Management System (EMS) is being used to manage solar production, provide backup power to critical loads, and improve the utilization of solar assets.
